Tonick and Partyolk previously talked about playing at Polymuso, in part two of this interview, Andrew finds out more about their music and their ‘love and hate’ of Hong Kong’s music scene.
PARTYOLK
Partyolk 由7位成員於2004年3月組成。互相在大學時期認識。當初因為發現各人在音樂方面均有不同的喜好和專長，便藉此計畫組成一隊沒有固定風格限製的多元化搖滾樂隊。Partyolk 的音樂混合了hip hop, tap, punk, electronics, metal 等不同元素，目的是希望為香港帶來一些新聲音， 擴闊香港人的耳朵。
Our story began in 2004, Partyolk were hooked up in “Polymuso”, which is a platform for young music lovers to meet and socialize with indie rock as the focus. We wanted to state our alien vision through our songs. Connecting with our emotions, feelings, life and loves. Since we have all got different music tastes and influences, we presented our unique sound with the mixture of rock’n roll, electronica and DJing. We hope Partyolk will bring to audiences a new voice and new breakthrough in music.

TONICK
由四名本地年青人組成的Punk pop獨立樂隊，成員包括阿恆(主音 / 結他)、小龜(結他)、Ryan(低音結他)及晨曦(鼓)。四名成員各具個人特色，令ToNick創作的音樂充滿率性玩味和澎湃的能量。經常演出live 的ToNick在表演中往往釋放出120%的能量，感染力令台下觀眾進入瘋狂狀態。
ToNick was formed in Feb 2006, and is a 4 piece Punk band. All of us met in POLY U, but unfortunately 2 of us couldn't graduate because we put too much time into music…
