Wong Sau Ching immigrated to Hong Kong in 1978. He studied at the Central School of Art in London in 1987.

There he obtained his BA (Hons) degree in Fine Art from the Wimbledon School of Art, London in 1992.

He participated in the “Artist in Education Scheme” in 1995 and 1997.

He worked as tutor for the “Multi-media Dance Education Project” organized by the Hong Kong Ballet in 1995.

He has held nine one-person shows between 1993 to 2000 in various galleries in London and Hong Kong, and participated in numerous group exhibitions in Hong Kong, London, Shanghai, Beijing, Paris, Dalian, Japan, Shangdong and Guangdong.

He won a HKADC Visual Arts Fellowship in 1997. He was Chairman of “Artist Commune” in Hong Kong, and one of the Publishers of Hong Kong Visual Arts Magazines Art in Hong Kong in 2001.
